Michael Grimm
Michael Grimm grew up on Long Island, NY, where he primarily played baseball and ice hockey until attending college in Tampa, FL. He served with the New York City Police Department as a police officer, detective, and sergeant for 15 years, during which time he also coached recreational baseball to high school athletes. Coach Grimm's passion for sports encompassed continuing to play baseball, men's softball, and ice hockey before relocating to North Carolina in 2017. During his free time, he enjoys the beach, traveling, and supporting his two children on their athletic journeys, which include baseball, softball, ice hockey, soccer, volleyball, and dance. He is a firm believer in playing multiple sports and staying active to nurture oneself both physically and mentally.
Coach Grimm received a B.S. in Mathematics from University of Tampa and has been coaching and mentoring student-athletes for over two decades
